“You guys have hit it off, huh. Seelekorin.”
““Don’t combine our names!””
The duo screamed simultaneously. Their reactions were funny, but their strength was anything but.
First off, Seele who had taken down A-chan in one hit–that was honestly a terrifying feat.
It was a crit, sure, but just how high was the base attack power behind her blow? She had doubtless gained power beyond my knowledge.
Then, Korin who had sealed my skills with her ‘Spirit Sword Futsu no Mitama’. That sword short was as dangerous as ever, but more worthy of note was her retreating speed.
Just how fast was she? I turned around in an instant, but she had disappeared without a trace by then.
“You guys have grown so much so fast…!”
Doubt I’d have the luxury of holding back my skills.
Bracing myself, I faced them fully alert.

The two pointed their weapons at each other. It wasn’t an act, I could tell. Both of them were seriously intent to kill each other.

I couldn’t help but be confused, but anyway, we were in the middle of a war. The enemies falling out with each other was good news to me.
I took out my weapons and launched them at the two without hesitation.

“Don’t you drag me down.”
“Back at you.”
There was a flash. Seele swung down her greatsword with one hand, slashing the ground diagonally.
I had no idea how high her Strength was, but it caused the ground to erupt like a tsunami, blocking my weapons.
Then Korin broke into a full sprint. With incredible agility, she used the rocks and clods amid the earth tsunami as footholds, zooming toward me.

She was already in front of me by the time I screamed.
I could see her beautiful eyes growing larger by the moment. I instantly jumped backward, but by then Korin had brandished her spirit sword.
It grazed my chest.

In other words, Korin wouldn’t take any damage from Seele’s greatsword. But, the force behind it would still apply to her…!

Korin became Rocket Korin. Flying towards me at a supersonic speed, she stabbed her short sword deep into my chest–!
I couldn’t help but groan in pain, but it only lasted for but a moment, stopped by the message window popping out in front of me. The contents sent a shiver down my spine.

The fact had me dazed, but the bad news wasn’t over yet. Korin’s attack had sent me tumbling over to the ground, and she was now sitting on top of me, preventing me from escaping.
It was what they called a mounted position. Be it in street fights or martial arts competitions, this position meant the end for the mounted party.
“You can’t run anymore, Yuri-san! This is the end!”
Korin pulled out her blade and tried to swing it down at me again.
Right now, I was no different from other players with 1 HP. Once she stabbed me, I’d be dead.

Standing there was a dark-haired girl in a maid outfit who looked almost identical to me but slightly younger.

“Let me introduce you to Maa-kun. He’s my dear partner and the only familiar in this whole world who has the ability to take on humanoid form.”

Maa-kun had swords floating around him. They came from ‘Summon Evil Sword’, which was similar to ‘Arms Barrier’.
However, the two wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. From Seele and Korin’s perspective, it must have seemed like a copy of me had popped out of nowhere right after they had deprived me of my undyingness.
Their expressions were awful.
“Haha… I didn’t expect this. You are too absurd, Demon King.”
“Agreed… but we can do nothing but tough it out. In fact, isn’t this a good thing? Now we can each defeat one Yuri-san.”
The two of them readied their blades again. Guess we now entered round two.
“I’m counting on you to hold the front, Maa-kun.”
I backed away with the bow in hand. Right now, I couldn’t use ‘Arms Barrier’ and I had no Agility buff from Maa-kun since he was materialized. So, I had him be the vanguard while I stayed in the rear as a regular archer.
“As you wish, Master. I will bring you victory.”
Black swords appeared in Maa-kun’s hands.
Despite his cute appearance now, his back still looked as cool as when he had been an Armor Knight.
Now, go wild, Maa-kun. After Cthulhu and Atlach Nacha, you are my next trump card.
